After lunch, I left Damian and Greg and
made my way to the west side of the
Presidential range.
Here I drove by the Appalachian trail
head where I visited 3 times before,
twice on my Presidential range traverses,
once a backpacking trip to Crag Camp on Mt
Adams. This was the first time I saw the
trailhead parking lot empty with not a
soul :-)
The
rain was very heavy at this section of
route 2. Getting slightly better as I
drove further down south.
