Hiker climbing up the trail
-Garfield Ridge Trail (AT)
I began to run into many groups of hiker
coming from the Galehead hut. Most of
them carried heavy backpack. I felt
sorry for them to have to climb this
section with heavy load.
They would ask me how far is
Garfield :-) "15 minutes
downhill."
This
section is not only steep, but also very
rough and some part of it is wet too.
