2nd river crossing -Cedar Brook trail
This is a much wider river. In spring time when the water run high, this could be a tough river to cross. But today, it is soothing.
The trail continue across the river into the left shadowed area. BTW on the way back, I almost got onto a wrong trail after crossing the river. The trail from the reverse direction at this point is a bit confusing. But i read from the AMC guide book afterward it mentioned that there is a bushwack trail here for people to avoid the next river crossing. Apparently the bushwack trail is so frequently used that it had appeared to be a permanent trail. But nonetheless, couple of head scratching later, I got back to the proper trail.
