The cloud was closing in. Initially we planned to hike to Mount Washington from here, but it was already almost 3 PM, to hike up Mount Washington and down require about an hour. Judging by the cloud and the day light we had left, it just didn't seem like a good idea. Besides, we're quite badly beaten from the climb.
The ridge behind me is the Davis Path, leading to the summit of Mount Washington, very tempting, but we're smart enough to turn away from the temptation. Time: 2:59:58 PM |
