We returned to the old cabin site at
around noon. Took our lunch break there
and headed down at around 12:30 PM
The sky was still cloudy but the rain
had stopped.
Here is a
sign pointed to a spring.
BTW,
we ran into David Metsky while we're at
the old cabin site shortly before our
descent. David Metsky maintains one of
the best
White Mountains site, which I
have been visiting since my very first
4k hike in 97 till now, I still
consulted his site for his trail reports
before my hike. Unfortunately I didn't
recognize him at the time to thank him
for the informative site. (Chris knows
him from his leadership training and
mentioned his name afterward)
