We ran into 2 groups of people on the
trail, both parties were heading down.
The first group was trying to make a day
trip to the summit of Mt Cabot to
celebrate one of the member's birthday,
but was discouraged by the rain and turned
back after arriving at the Unknown Pond.
The other
was an solo camper, he stayed at the
Unknown Pond Tent-site the the night
before, and was hiking down this
morning.
The
Unknown Pond is only steps away from
here.
